Origin Pacific Airways is a regional airline operating from its own purpose-built facilities at Nelson Airport. 100% New Zealand owned, Origin Pacific is managed and run by people with extensive knowledge of air travel and proven success in running airline businesses. Origin Pacific operates a fleet of aircraft well suited to New Zealand conditions and to the regional nature of the airlines' activities. Included in the fleet are British Aerospace Jetstream 19 seater J31/J32 and  30 seater J41 aircraft. These aircraft offer a modern, spacious pressurised cabin with stand-up headroom, comfortable leather seating and toilet facilities. Also in the 18-seater range, the company flies Fairchild Metroliners which, like the Jetstream, are pressurised. Origin Pacific also has a Cessna 421 Golden Eagle 7-seater with a pressurised cabin ideal for executive charter.
